Garcia: Beatified pope’s first miracle is ridding world of Bin Laden

The death of Osama bin Laden over the weekend should be seen as Pope John Paul II’s first miracle, Peruvian President Alan Garcia said Monday.

The pope died six years ago, in April 2005, and this past Sunday, May 1, he was beatified, the third of four steps to be declared a saint.

The “first miracle [of John Paul II] was to remove from this land the demonic incarnation of the crime of hate,” daily El Comercio reported Garcia as saying in reference to Bin Laden.

US President Barack Obama announced on Sunday night that the head of Al-Qaeda had been killed, almost ten years after the September 11 attacks on New York and Washington, when US commandos stormed a compound north of Islamabad, Pakistan, where Bin Laden had been hiding.

“I think it is big news that should please [President] Obama and that in a way vindicates also [ex-President] George W. Bush, who made the decision to go after Osama and continue patiently with this work that resulted in the final fruits,” Garcia said.

Pope John Paul II visited Peru twice, in 1985 and 1988, just prior to and then during President Garcia’s first administration.

    What?
    You’ve gotta be kidding me.
“I will mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.”

And, ever heard of a small man named Ghandi?
An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.

Osama Bin Laden died 6 years ago from kidney failure. This is a ploy to distract Americans. Don’t be fooled. If you’re not listening to Alex Jones on infowars.com you’re not paying attention.
    Thanks!
